I think more studios should look to provide high quality dance classes to adults. While adult dance classes are becoming more widespread, I still feel like [western concert] dance is still seen as something primarily for young people to do. Adults who begin learning dance later in life can have just as much passion and verve as a child dancer – but the key difference is that the adult has the finances and mobility to begin supporting the dance industry immediately.
